SHADOWS

Further to my previous entry on how I photograph my glass in the open using natural light thought I would share some shadowy images. I never realised how the sun could create such intriguing shapes but of course one has to start with an intriguing shape to begin with. I remember being in the V & A museum, the glass gallery to be precise when a group of students arrived to study the glass art on display. Instead of drawing the actual objects, they shone light on the glassware and drew the resultant shadows. I was fascinated and vowed to try this out. Trouble is its hard to exhibit a real shadow in a real exhibition!!!
